The cargo with no room for error
Explosives and other dangerous goods are essential to mining, quarrying and construction, and they are among the most tightly controlled cargo there is. CFA Logistics imports, clears, transports and stores them in Tanzania with the permits, trained people and safety controls the law and our clients require.

Permits and approvals
Explosives and hazardous chemicals need approvals from several authorities before they can be imported, moved or stored. We prepare and track them so the cargo can move as soon as it lands. Our processes are approved by GCLA, TRA, TPA and TASAC.

- Risk assessment for every move, reducing risk to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP)
- Vehicles and drivers equipped for dangerous goods
- Escorts, approved routes and controlled timings
- Correct segregation, packing and documentation (IMDG for sea, IATA for air)
- Storage in licensed facilities
- Emergency response procedures
